- This is just what the Lakers do, they get borded with the regular season and turn it on during the playoff's. Last year it took a depleated Rockets team to push them to game 7 before they snapped out of it. They ended 01 the same way then went 15-1 to win the 2nd of 3 titles.

- The idea is to get another starter not swap pitchers. Dodgers made this move a few years back Laduca and Mota for Penny and completly threw off the chemistry and lead to a first round sweep in the playoffs.

- How did being fromthe AL east work for the Rays in last years World series? Dodgers are just as deep with no easy outs 1-8 plus solid veteran back ups. I know how hard it is for you to believe there is baseball outside the AL East.

- Dodgers could use Penny, getting him out of Fenway back to Dodger Stadium and the NL should help his ERA and at 5 million a lot cheaper then he was last year.

- Dunn was a non factor with the D-backs take him away from GABP and he's a 20 something homerun hitter. I see him going to Pittsburgh at a bargin where he will continue to put up great #'s in that van box of a stadium.

- This is a good move in the long run. Lute is set in his ways and refuses to accept that the Pac-10 has changed. Howland, Bennett, Floyd, and Johnson had transformed the once wide open, run and gun Pac-10 into a hard nose defensive minded league.

- This is the best move for the program in the long run, Lute was set in his ways and wouldn't accept that the Pac-10 has changed.
